Who: Stroke recovery researchers, clinicians, trainees, therapists, policymakers and the stroke recovery community.

What: The most important stroke recovery research meeting of the year!

Where: The beautiful and picturesque city of Ottawa. The meeting will be held at the new EY Centre, conveniently located near the airport and 10 minutes from downtown.

When: June 9-10, 2014

Why: To showcase innovation in the field of stroke recovery; to highlight the latest technologies and new approaches to stimulating brain recovery; and to probe new clinical practices and approaches to maximize the benefits of rehabilitation.

We have an amazing program planned, including a plenary talk by Dr. Bruce Dobkin of UCLA Geffen School of Medicine on the latest advances in the field. The newest research on:
- cognitive rehabilitation;
- the genetics of stroke recovery;
- stem cell research and nanotechnology;
- tele-rehabilitation;
- imaging;
- robotics;
- exercise;
- high-quality poster presentations; and,
- a Brag 'n Steal to highlight the top innovations around the country.

The meeting will also provide a great opportunity to
network, develop new collaborations and catalyze research in this important field.
