ARM Prison Outreach has been the single distributor of American Bible Society prison Bibles for a number of years; we passed the ONE MILLION threshold some years ago. I have MORE GOOD NEWS ... and I have a CHALLENGE to present.
THE GOOD NEWS: The funds for the printing and mailing of these one million copies are in place, thanks to our partnership with the American Bible Society.
THE CHALLENGE: We must find $8 per inmate/course to print and mail our John Bible study to all who enroll! I must tell you that one of our newest donors is excited BECAUSE HER HUSBAND IS A CURRENT BIBLE STUDENT WITH ARM'S ABA!
Here is what Bro. Joe Garman said about this open door:
"When you put out 1 million invitations to enroll in ABA, even a small percentage of those will be tens of thousands, so we are going to need a lot of funding for the printing of not only the Gospel of John (course one) but also the other seven courses as well. I have not been worried about this because the Lord is called 'El Shaddai' in scripture and, of course, that means 'the Lord will provide.' I know this is the Lord's ministry and that He will provide but I am rather concerned as to where these funds will come from. I really do not know how this is going to pan out, but we are going to fight to the finish to try to get a course in the hands of all of those who want one."
We are looking for two primary sources. First, those who will give $8 per month to fund one Bible course per month for an American Bible Academy student. (If you already are giving, THANKS! Could you recruit a friend?)
