MOTHER'S DAY SINGING
KidZChoiR will be singing on Mother's Day, May 8. The kids loved Easter so much, they wanted more!! So if your child would like to sing on Mother's Day, sign up at the KidCheck stations. Practices will be Wednesday, April 30, May 7 and possibly Sunday, May 4, between services.
CRAFTS FOR CHRIST

Ms Amy is at it again and she has a couple of great ideas for C4C and Mom's Day gifts. If your child would like to make a gift for their mom or grandma, grab an event envelope now. Cost is $5 if registered by April 30. $10 after wards.
SACK LUNCH
This Sunday immediately after church, families with kids are invited to stay for a free meal at our S.A.C.K. lunch connection time. S.A.C.K. stands for Sunday After Church with Kids and is a time set aside to meet other families, and the families of your kids church friends. This month, S.A.C.K. is serving spaghetti bake casserole (but there will be still be a few hot dogs for those who can't get enough of them!)
TECH TRAINING
Tech training will take place during S.A.C.K. lunch this Sunday for 4th-6th graders who would like to serve during 10:30 KidZChurcH by running the computer and sound. If your child has not signed up to serve with the tech crew yet, they can still come to the training, but please let Ms Dawn know so we can make enough handouts. Training will be led by Tim Cochran.

Easter at Hilton Road Update
Our Easter services were a great celebration with around 650 people in attendance between both services. The KidZChoiR did a great job with their song, and HiSKidZ big and little had a blast learning about the Lord, singing their hearts out and yes, going on an egg hunt!!
One of our boys remarked, "Ms Dawn, this is the best day I've ever had!" Yeah!!!!! Celebrating Jesus with HiSKidZ--best thing ever! Check out some of our pics below.

NTCC encourages HiSKidZ to bring and use their Bibles as they grow as disciples of Jesus. If your child needs a Bible, or you need help choosing a Bible for your child, please talk to Ms Dawn, one of the staff, a small group leader or teacher. One of our 5 faith skills is to "Navigate the Bible." In order to grow in that skill area, HiSKidZ need a Bible, need to bring a Bible to church and need to learn how this "best book evah" works!!
This Week HiSKidZ Are Learning. . .
Sunday at 9am-HiSKidZ will discover how the gospel explosion took place in the book of Acts and the impact of Paul and the guys as they went out on their missionary journeys.
Sunday at 10:30 am--HiSKidZ will be learning about communion--what it means, why we take it every week, why it is for believers and what it has to do with Easter.
Sunday night Cross Country for 6th grade--6th graders will be studying the historical books of the Old Testament as we take on our latest service project to plan a volunteer appreciation night for all our HiSKidZ leaders!
Wednesday Night KidZRocK--HiSKidZ are learning about the shield of faith.This is a great lesson and I can't wait for KidZRocK tonight!
