La Tierra Giro para Acercarnos | 8x10in | Mixed media on canvas board
This mixed media painting is a new addition to the series Pink Ginger. The artwork is inspired by the most beautiful lines that I first came across in the movie 21 grams. The lines have stuck with me since. I later found the original source of the lines, a poem written in Spanish by Eugenio Montejo. Here's a translated excerpt from it -
"The earth turned to bring us closer,
it spun on itself and within us,
and finally joined us together in this dream."
The Pink Ginger series has been updated with nine new small works. Do have a look and let me know what you think of it.

" The Peacock has left the building."
My work space is missing a Peacock. Every now & then, I have glanced upon the vacant wall, half expecting the hundred eyes to stare back at me. But all I've got is the blank stare of a stark blue wall.
This one has flown away to a stylish home in the land of Oz. For the love of Peacocks, and the rich colors and textures, this one is very dear.
