Daffodil ride, East Bay Bike Path, and spring bike adoption!

"Bicycles are the indicator species of a community, like shellfish in a bay." ~ P. Martin Scott

This Weekend in Newport:

April 26 (Saturday)
Daffodillion Bike Ride

Celebrate SPRING with an adorable bike ride of fun and flowers! Join Bike Newport as we tour the Daffodillion plantings and end up at the Newport Daffodil Days Festival at Bannister's Wharf.

Length will be 10-15 miles with a brief walk on the Cliff Walk. Bring your helmet, a camera, bike lock, and wear yellow!

Ride leaves at 11 a.m. from Touro Park (Bellevue between Mill and Pelham)

April 27 (Sunday)
Group Ride: East Bay Bike Path

Join us (and our friends from the Fall River Bike Committee!) for our first off-island group ride of the season! We leave from Independence Park in Bristol at 9 a.m. Check the calendar for more details. This is a great ride for beginners.

April 28 (Monday)
Spring Bike Adoption at the Bike Garage

Looking for wheels? Our volunteer mechanics and Met School interns have been working to fix up our fleet of donated bikes - some for repair, some for sale. The sale of bikes helps support our program. Come check out the selection at the Bike Garage at Rogers. The bikes come in all sizes and styles at very affordable prices.
