As in previous events, this year's festival will highlight youth-produced media created as part of iEARN's Adobe Youth Voices partnership.
When? June 30, 2014
Where? At the 2014 iEARN Conference and Youth Summit in Puerto Madryn, Argentina, and online in iEARN's Adobe Connect Room.
HOW DO I SUBMIT MY STUDENT'S ADOBE YOUTH VOICES MEDIA?
To be considered for the iEARN Adobe Youth Voices Media Festival, please submit work by June 5th.
To submit your students' media work, you will first need to be registered on the Adobe Youth Voices Community website.
IMPORTANT: If you are not yet registered on the site, be sure to register as a Grantee with the Access code: iearn

Once registered via the above link, you can then use that same login info on the Project Submissions website to submit your students' AYV media to Adobe and iEARN for consideration for the iEARN/AYV Media Festival and exhibition on the Adobe website.

As an educator in the Adobe Youth Voices program, the Project Submissions site is the place to submit Adobe Youth Voices media projects at the end of each program year. Please note that you can submit finished youth media there at any time during the year, but iEARN's end of year submission takes place at the time of our festival, so we ask that educators try to get all of their end of program year work in by June 5, 2014.
If approved, the work will be submitted to the Adobe Foundation and possibly be featured in the Adobe Youth Voices Media Gallery! And, it will be eligible for the 2014 iEARN Adobe Youth Voices Media Festival!
Please note that you will also be asked on the Project Submissions site to provide author info for the student(s) who created the work. You will want to have their info (and a photo of the student artists if you would like to include it in the submission) ready to include on the submission. You will also need to submit all NELA and Model Release forms along with each media piece. You can find all of these forms, and downloadable iEARN and Adobe Youth Voices logos to include on your media, HERE.
The festival screening committee will review submitted media, and will contact you if your students' work is chosen to be screened at the iEARN Adobe Youth Voices Media Festival. Media should follow the same guidelines as all other AYV work, including securing licensing agreements, model releases, and including appropriate crediting of youth artists, your school or youth organization, and any other credits that should be listed.
Contact ljobson@us.iearn.org if you have any questions and be sure to submit your students' media projects by June 5th to have it considered for screening at the festival!!!
- The iEARN Adobe Youth Voices Media Festival Team
For student work not screened in the festival, we will be showcasing additional media through iEARN's various AYV social media channels so that as much student work as possible can be viewed by a global audience.
