This special public broadcast presentation of MRS JUDO is part of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in May with a special series Japanese American Lives presented by the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) and hosted by world-renowned athlete & Olympian Kristi Yamaguchi scheduled on over twenty channels through public television.
Finally, to send us off with two more inspiring women, Fukuda Sensei's students Elena and Anna capture the Gold Medal in Reno for performing Ju-no-kata, the kata Sensei so famously demonstrated at the 1964 Olympics. Amazing job ladies!
