Hey Y'all!

I hope this email update finds everyone well!

I’m doing great. Many of you haven’t heard an update from me since right before I was leaving for a 2 month trip to Uganda, Africa. Well the trip went amazing! We were able to show God’s love to Ugandan citizens young and old through kids camps, working shifts at baby homes, praying in hospitals and visiting refugee camps. The team made so many memories and friends that it would take a month to tell you all about it, but one thing we learned that you are part of is how important our prayers are. Our team made it our goal to be intercessors for the other teams, ministries and people groups that we came in contact with. As we exchanged the things we were praying for our other outreach teams we began to hear stories of how things were happening pertaining to the things we were praying. And as we heard from the other teams and friends from back home they all were praying for team unity, which was amazingly tight with our group. Praise God is all I can say about that. If we are faithful to pray the things he has put on our hearts then He will be faithful to complete them! We finished DTS mid-March, took a quick trip to visit a couple of dear friends in Pennsylvania, then I journeyed back to Mississippi and Louisiana for a little over a month and headed back to Madison for a couple of months!

What am I up to now you ask?

Well, I am currently volunteer staff with the communications department here at YWAM Madison as I continue to seek God as to where He wants me to commit next. I have been blessed so much by this opportunity to live and work in the community without having to make a commitment straight away. I will be here definitely until the end of June, and know that by then I’ll have a little more direction and word as to what my life direction will be headed.

Now, onto what is next!

While I’m not sure of my life direction currently, I am part of a team that has just recently formed that will be headed to Turkey to do some relief work with refugees there. We literally just formed so many of the details are unknown but we will have to raise our own support and plan our trip with the guidance of the YWAM Madison Staff. This is an amazing opportunity with an amazing team and I am so excited to be able to be a part of it. Next month there will be more information as well as possibly an idea of the cost of the trip.

Here are some things that you can be praying for:
Financial Provision:
I am praying for more monthly partners who would like to support me in my ministry, as well as provision for the Turkey trip and a possible team retreat before we leave.
Guidance:
What is it that God has for me? And Where? are the two biggest questions in this section. I have people praying me North and people praying me South but I just want to be exactly where God can use me the most.
Turkey Team:
Pray for us as we begin to sit down and discuss roles as well as what the trip will look like. Pray for a deepening unity between us. Pray for financial provision for everyone’s trips and visas as well as transportation for a team retreat.
