Rural Health Services Research Network of BC

Funded through the Rural Coordination Centre of BC
May 2014 | Issue 34

**This edition has been amended from the previous to include the RECC Conference.
Hello RHSRNbc members!

Here at the Network we are still riding our high from the Rural Health Research Conference with Interior Health in Kelowna, in mid-April.  It was such a productive meeting, filled with engaging presentations and plenty of networking.  The Okanagan Lake was a lovely backdrop to what proved to be an exciting conference, where participants were always buzzing about discussing how to tackle rural health services. I was inspired by the passion and commitment I saw, and am so excited to see what amazing things grow from this one event.  A big thank you to the leadership of Interior Health's Nursing Research Facilitator, Katrina Plamondon, without whom the event would not have been as successful!

Cheers,
Taylor Fleming, RHSRNbc Coordinator
