Being Walk Friendly in Small Town Ontario webinar
Tuesday, June 10
th, from 1:00-2:30 pm EST

Canada Walks is offering a webinar to guide communities in small town Ontario in navigating and completing the application for designation as a WALK Friendly Community.

Whether you live in a big city or a small town, we’re all walkers!
Walkability isn’t just for big cities; small towns can also create safe, easy, and inviting places to walk for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike.

Join Kate Hall, Program Manager of WALK Friendly Ontario (WFO), for this “how-to” session.

The presentation will:
  • provide a brief introduction to WFO;
  • walk participants through the application section by section;
  • explain the application process and what we’re looking for; and
  • answer any burning questions so that participants feel confident in making an application.
