Music

Sean McMorris is a pop/rock musician with a long trajectory in the scene. He formed the bands Option One and The speakers with whom he  performed during the 80's and 90's and after formalizing studies on Jazz Performance in NYC he has participated in many other musical collaborations. Last year he released his first solo album lo&behold. We are delighted to listen to him at one of the coolest spots in Atlanta!

Featured Vendor..

Smartchick Farms

Smart Chick are returning to the EAV market this week, they bring fresh eggs and chicken meat, they also produce pet-grade chicken food and are Non-GMO certified.

"After spending 17 years growing chickens commercially, we decided to sell our farm. Over the years we realized that there’s a lot of things that are wrong with the way America gets her food. Folks should know where their food comes from. With this in mind, we set out to grow chickens of the highest quality. We also decided that these chickens should be raised in the pasture with plenty of room to roam. We decided to never use anything that has GMOs, never give antibiotics or hormones. Our chickens are treated with love and care!"

Chef Demo..

Don't miss EAV very own personal chef Rose Bigelow this Thursday. Rosa has her own catering service RosaRose Catering, through which she has won the heart of many in the city. She's loved for the outstanding flavor of her meals as well as her flexibility as a manager and chef to make any type of event a successful one, from intimate gatherings, weekly home meals to large-scale events.

Bike to the Market

Your efforts to support your community don't have to end at buying local. Choose walking or biking to the market instead of car transportation, and help improve your neighborhood's carbon footprint. Cruise the roads of the East Atlanta Village and enjoy the outdoors in support of your community.

Driving to the market?  Park on the sidestreets off Stokewood Ave or try the lot located at 1231 Glenwood Ave - open tonight only from 4 to 8  for market patrons .
