It was organized chaos as always. The children were full of excitement as they burst through the doors of the Dignity Resource & Opportunity Center (Dignity ROCs) Tuesday, eager to participate in Dignity’s first annual Spring Fling.
They enjoyed arts and crafts indoors, creating works of art using crayons and markers. Later, everyone retreated outdoors to play a few group games. Red Light, Green Light seemed to be a crowd favorite! The weather was so nice as the children played and laughed, embracing the springtime weather. The event ended with everyone filling their bellies with cheese pizza and fruit punch! Each child was sent home with parting gifts of yummy candy, small toys, and games. From the smiles on their faces, Dignity’s first annual Spring Fling proved to be a success!
Big thanks to Wanda, Resource Center Coordinator, for her leadership in planning and organizing this event for the children of Dignity Housing. It went off without a hitch!
