The Latest Ruckus...

Summer is fast approaching, so we thought we'd take a minute to catch you up on what we've accomplished so far in 2014.

We are proud to report the completion of another successful TRASHformation program in Highland Park,  for which we received a Highland Park Neighborhood Purpose Grant. RuckusRoots teamed up with 127 Academia Avance middle school students to create an interactive teddy bear sculpture out of recycled materials. This year also included a trip to the highly coveted Annenberg Alchemy seminar, and the completion of our first internship program, Strong Roots. We took a break in April to help RuckusRoots collaborator James Peterson build his amazing CryoChrome art installation at the Coachella Valley Music Festival.

Get Your Swag On

That's right, the first ever RuckusRoots t-shirts are in the house. How can you be the proud owner of one of these comfortable-yet-sylish gems?  Join our Monthly Sustainers Club for as little as $10 per month and you'll receive your very own RuckusRoots T-shirt in the mail, not to mention a sweet tax write off at the end of the year. (Our shirts are locally made in Los Angeles and printed with sustainable ink.)

As always, we thank you for your continued support. Here's wishing you all a happy, healthy summer!
