I want to invite you to join us for our next Trucking Efficiency Workshop on technologies in Little Rock, Arkansas on June 26. These workshops are highly effective events where leaders in the industry roll up their sleeves and openly discuss, even debate, the advantages and disadvantages of adopting various technologies. This will be the first workshop where automated transmissions are added to the agenda.  On May 5th the second such workshop was held in Long Beach, California and was attended by 108 registrants.  The slides from that event can be viewed here.

 Project Updates 

• The Idle Reduction Study Confidence Report will be published soon, we'll let you know when it is available.
• Our next Confidence Report - Automated Transmissions -- on automatic and automated manual transmissions for Class 8 tractors will be coming early this fall.
• And the 2014 update of the Annual Fleet Fuel study will be published in June. Fleets are reporting increased adoption of the technologies and an improvement of 13% in mpg from 2010 levels!
