NCR Trail Marathon Registration Open

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 25th Anniversary Running of the NCR Trail Marathon and Marathon Relay on Saturday, November 29, 2014 starting at 8:30 AM.

New this year will be the 8K Rails to Trails race to offer more runners the opportunity to participate in this special event.  In keeping with tradition, we offer our runners the best volunteer support 26.2 miles could offer and promise our signature post-race homemade soup as you cross the finish line.

Hope to see you there!  Complete race information can be found here.  Go here to register early and SAVE!

It's not too late to volunteer to serve on the NCR Trail Marathon Committee.  Contact Race Director Christy St. Clair to volunteer.

Training Program Update

BRRC would like to thank its many dedicated coaches for the success of our three Winter and Spring training programs.  The program participants have completed many races, some of them for the first time.  See the newsletter link on this page for complete information.

The BRRC Board of Directors will meet in late May to evaluate proposals for new training programs to begin during the summer months in preparation for Fall races.  Members should check the BRRC website for specific details of upcoming programs.

Quote of the Month

"If you never have a 'bad' day, you're probably doing something wrong; if you never have a 'good' day, you're definitely doing something wrong."

Seeking Volunteers

We are seeking members to volunteer with events in 2014.  There are opportunities for directing races, assisting with races, and helping with club administration.  Our strength as a Club is dependent on the commitment of our volunteers.  Please let us know that you would like to help.

About BRRC

The Baltimore Road Runners Club was founded in 1971 by Les Kinion to promote running for both the recreational and the competitive runner.   The BRRC is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization sanctioned by the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA).

Our current membership includes runners of all abilities and ages who can enjoy our events on the road, track or trails.  Whether your goal is to run a marathon or to get into shape, you will find other club members who share your interests.  We offer programs and opportunities for the newcomers to the experienced.

As an active member of the Baltimore Road Runners Club you will enjoy the benefits of our organized training programs, sponsored races, social outings, and volunteer opportunities. There are plenty of fun and exciting activities scheduled throughout the year.
