Hello Sailors

Bangers and Mash this Saturday
There are still a few places left for our Bangers and Mash night this Saturday evening. It's at the Clubhouse with catering by Grant Cueto. Click Bangers and Mash  to download the reservation.

Club Racing
The Laser fleet has made a strong showing at the start of this season supplemented by cameo appearances from our resident RS800, a Mirror or two and a wave piercing Coastal Rowing Boat. After a winter of 'secret' training, Mike 'VC' T and Mark 'big cowboy hat' S are consistently among the front runners. Well done chaps, but come on the rest of you, don't let them get it all their own way, there's no substitute for time on the water.
Thank you to all the volunteers who have helped out so far out in the bay, in the Race Hut and in the clubhouse. We can't go sailing without you.

Sunday Morning Sailing and 'Apres' Lunch
The clubhouse terrace is a fine viewing platform and the Race Hut crew are always open to the offer of a coffee. You are also very welcome to join us for a late 'apres sail' lunch around 1.30pm
Thursday and Monday Evenings in the Clubhouse Bar
The bar is open for a welcome sundowner. There is also hot food on offer - come down and see what's going on.

Beer Sailing School
The Sailing School have started their new season too - Well Done Alan and Tony.
If you are interested in learning to sail or getting a 'refresher' get in touch with Alan. He will shortly also be offering courses in powerboat ... watch this space

Volunteers to help Alan and Tony with boat winching, derigging and packing away would be very much appreciated.

Beer Sailing School Shed
Our new storage shed is up and running on the beach. A big thank you to all those who helped to make it happen.

Winch Volunteers
There's no better sight for for the patrol boat crew than to see some willing volunteers waiting to help 'White Eagle' safely back to it's berth on the beach

Sailing Club Winches
The Sailing Club winches are there to make life easier for everyone to go sailing. If you need some advice or guidance on how to use them safely please get in touch. We are available to help.

Wednesday Morning Coffee Club in the Clubhouse
So much better than 'Costa' and the view is magnificent - catch up for a 'social' coffee with other club members
