  • EABC Vice President on Thai Political Situation in the Bangkok Post (9 May 2014)
Mr. Jan Eriksson, EABC vice-president, in his interview with the Bangkok Post published on 9 May 2014, voiced concern among the foreign business community that the Thai economy has begun to realise the impact of the lack of fully-functioning government which has limitations to borrow money while facing falling tax revenue. He emphasised the urgency of having a functioning government in place and he remained optimistic that an election would eventually be held.

  • GIZ's report “PV Rooftop Development in Thailand - Analysis of Regulations and Challenges”


The recently published report “PV Rooftop Development in Thailand - Analysis of Regulations and Challenges” analyses the current administrative framework for the realization of a rooftop solar PV installation making references to international best practices and points out challenges for developers and installers.

The report was developed by the consultancy eclareon GmbH in the framework of the Project Development Programme (PDP) South-East Asia. PDP South-East Asia is implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy in close cooperation with the Thai Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE).
