Come and experience the joy of music this summer!

All over the world, parents bond with their little ones through musical sounds and rhythmic movement. They rock and swing their children, put them to sleep with lullabies, make them laugh with nursery rhymes. Parents know instinctively what scientists have now proven: young children thrive on music. It's one of the best vehicles for learning in early childhood development and it has been proven to improve early brain development. And, did we mention it’s fun for kids and parents alike?! What better way to spend your summer!!

Kindermusik Summer Session Details
Location: St. Francis Episcopal Church in Willow Glen (1205 Pine Ave. SJ)
Session Dates: June 18-August 13
Class Length: 45 minutes (see below for times)
Kindermusik Tuition: $164 for full session. Join anytime! We prorate! 
Materials: Two digital cds and access to Kindermusik@Home free!
Makeups: Free Unlimited Makeups for Kindermusik Classes
Birth-2 Year Olds
Wednesdays, 9:30a
 
Our Sing & Play class is designed with the active toddler in mind. This high energy class is perfect for the new walker. We'll explore instruments, sing, dance, twirl, march, listen, relax and so much more!

We'll do activities and songs around the following two themes (each 4 weeks): Big Backyard and Hello Day.

2-3 Year Olds
Wednesdays, 10:30a
 
In our Wiggle & Grow class, we'll giggle, wiggle, sing, dance and play instruments all while working on developing our social/emotional skills like taking turns, sharing and putting away instruments.

We'll do activities and songs around the following two themes (each 4 weeks): Beach Days and Down on the Ground.

4-5 Year Olds

This amazing class combines all the fun of a Kindermusik Class (singing, instrument play, dancing, etc.) with an introduction to basic music skills. Use of the keyboard, instrument families, musical vocabulary and music history are all explored in a fun and relaxed setting.

We'll do activities and songs around the following two themes (each 4 weeks): Sing a Story and Sounds Abound.

Kindermusik Playdate: Picnic Days

Whether you’re already in Kindermusik and want an extra class, or you’d just like to come to only one class, our single-class Playdates are just for you! We keep it fun, and we keep it interesting! You’ll love coming back again and again since each Playdate has a different theme. And the multi-age class setting (ages 0 to 6 yrs) makes the Playdate a perfect choice for anyone. Bring a friend or bring the whole family.

Each Playdate begins with 15 minutes of free play and exploration, followed by 45 minutes of structured activities a FULL hour of musical fun! We offer a unique blend of multi-age activities that include creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, singing and a colorful literature component! For every playdate, each family will receive a music download card for 10 songs from Kindermusik's digital music site, along with an instrument and/or theme-related gift!

Fees
Current Students: $12 per child & $5 for each additional sibling.

Non-enrolled families: $15 per child & $7 for each additional sibling.

Siblings under 6 months are always free.

 Music for Little Mozarts
Age-Appropriate & Fun Private Piano Lessons
4-6 Year Olds
 
The Music for Little Mozarts program provides age appropriate, preparatory piano lessons for children ages 4-6. This innovative piano introduction course offers a fun, imaginative, and enjoyable learning experience for young beginners. This curriculum is specifically designed to teach young beginners using a combination of piano technique, musician- ship, listening skills, singing and musical games. These lessons use shorter (20 minutes) and frequently change activities to cater to the preschool attention span. Students join the adventures of Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse as they learn about music and the piano. This highly imaginative course provides a bridge between the discipline necessary for playing the piano and the fun of making music.
