340 Concrete Panels Safely Removed from Downtown Houston High-rise
ATI technicians successfully removed 340 precast concrete panels from the 22 story Mickey Leland Federal Building in downtown Houston with no incidents or recordables.
This challenging job required skill, precision, and out-of-the-box thinking. On May 17, the last precast panel was removed from the building. More details and pictures on our the web site.(You may remember the October 2012 newsletter featuring the custom roof-top cranes ATI had specially fabricated for this job.)

ATI team members Chris Allen, Greg "Tex" Leggio, and Ronnie Wills (pictured) won 3rd place stringer and won both bounty categories: biggest black drum & biggest flounder at the 2nd annual fishing tournament supporting the CJ Strnadel IV (TAMU Construction Science) Scholarship Fund. The tournament was hosted by Spaw Glass and the captain's dinner and awards were held at the Port O'Connor Community Center on Matagorda Bay.
