Special Guests at June Meeting

June 4 GWC Meeting
Our GWC June 4 meeting will have special guests Terri Fashing, Director of the Marin County Stormwater Pollution Protection Program (MCSTOPPP) who will give us updates on latest rules from the state affecting creeks and waterways.

Also on the program is Nick from Terra Linda High School, one of the wonderful student leaders who worked with us on removing Trash in Gallinas Creek as part of the School for Environmental Leadership. Nick will show us the awesome video he made of the students' efforts and answer questions regarding the project and the program.

We hope you all will come join us for a very informative and entertaining evening. Location: Northgate Mall Community Room (directions below).

Our very own watershed music CD: Watershed--Music Inspired by the Place that Connects Us, is still available. This delightful collection is just right for hot summer days, which we are having right now! Check it out.

Aroma Cafe Art Show
GWC's photo exhibit, Reflections on Water, is still playing on the walls at Aroma Cafe, next door to the Rafael Theater on Fourth Street, downtown San Rafael. The show is up until July 4--don't miss it! These fabulous photos--and the good food at Aroma--are special treats. You can also view these photos (and buy them!) on Creekwalker's website. All proceeds benefit GWC.
