COME OUT THIS SUNDAY TO VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION & MONTHLY GARDEN MEETING

A note from Volunteer Committee Lead Emily Hellström:

Hi everyone,

Please put down some roots, and help keep the gates open for the entire community to enjoy your neighborhood Garden.

Among the Garden's immediate goals is to keep the Elizabeth Street gates open Wednesdays – Sundays. We need your help to achieve this. Do you or your neighbors and friends have flexible schedules? Time to volunteer weekdays? Two to four hours per month? We need you now!

Volunteers are crucial to keeping the Garden open. They welcome visitors and introduce them to the Garden's mission; tend garden plantings; help with special events, grant writing and communications; and much more. Don't miss this occasions to learn about ways to share your talents.

Please come to Volunteer Orientation this Sunday, June 8, 3:30  4:30 p.m.

Email me at emily@elizabethstreetgarden.org if you can attend Sunday’s orientation, and if you have friends and neighbors who may be interested in volunteering, please bring them. If you are committed to volunteering this season and unable to attend, please also let me know.

Looking forward to meeting you all,

Emily
