We had such a wonderful time with you last year (watch the video here!) and we hope you can again join us at Fort Adams for a morning of cycling and celebration. All of last year's offerings are back and better than ever, plus some new additions:
6, 10 and 25 mile bike courses, or 2-mile Bay Walk around Fort Adams
Riding the 25 mile route provides a chance for riders to remember Elliot Kaminitz and Mike Strickland with white carnations
Newport Pedicab rides are available for the 6-mile route, but require reservations in advance – email us or call (401) 619-4900
*New* "There in Spirit" option for out-of-towners or those who have already made other plans
Kids "Tour de Fort" inside of Fort Adams will include a protected ride for youngsters and a circuit of stations to learn and practice bike skills
Local bike shops will be offering free rentals for the ride - check the website for locations and bike styles and make reservations in advance.
All festivities will wrap up by noon, leaving plenty of time for the family barbecue! What better way to celebrate Dad than a family bike ride along Newport's gorgeous Ocean Drive? We hope you'll join us and remember Dr. Elliot Kaminitz, a gentleman who dreamed of a bicycle-friendly Newport.
