Closing Day, 1st June
Something different for the last day of the season. We're going to run some fun races off the beach around an unusual course that will have a leg passing the front of the clubhouse. Racing will be in the club's plastic optis, so there's no need to bring your own boat. There will be divisions for junior, youth, ladies, senior and the winners from each will end up in a series super final. Bring waterpistols and your wetsuit and warmwear. Sailing will be followed by refreshments and a barbeque at the club. OOD Matt/Fergus, GALLEY Clive Brown & Family + helpers. RIB crews TBA on the day. Rig 10:30 for 11am start of proceedings. Forecast 10kt SE.
Nosh Night, 21st June
Prize giving will be catered this year, and pricing for a ticket including a meal is $12 per head. Amanda has kindly arranged the following menu:
- Beef Lasagne
- Red Lentil, Tomato & Herb Lasagne
- Green Salad with balsamic dressing
- Basket of French Bread
- Platter of Vanilla Custard Tartlets with fresh fruit garnish
Prizes will be presented for the Club Series Races and there'll be some projected sailing action to keep you entertained! You will need to book online to reserve a ticket and details will follow on this in the next newsletter.
