Visitor numbers to Japan continue to increase with 1,232,000 people travelling to Japan in April, a 33.4% increase from the previous year. Of this, 30,200 were from Australia. What a fantastic start to the year!

Japanese Sake & Shochu Campaign Nothing says "Welcome to Japan!" like a free cup of Japanese sake! Campaign booths have been set up at Japan's major airports (Narita, Haneda, Kansai and Chubu) offering visitors free tastings, explaining how sake is produced and providing information on sake breweries they can visit. Japan Airlines Launches Hokkaido Campaign to Worldwide Customers
 
JAL Hokkaido Campaign From now until 31st March 2015 JAL is running a Hokkaido Campaign targeting customers worldwide. Customers with a valid JAL boarding pass/e-ticket can download coupon offers from the PC and mobile-friendly site and redeem them at over 100 participating retailers and across Hokkaido prefecture. Mt Fuji Round Trip Ticket
 
Mt Fuji Round Trip Ticket This summer, JR East will sell a discounted ticket for tourists visiting Mt Fuji. It allows unlimited use of in the 'Free Area' of the Fujikyuko Line and Fuji Tozan Bus as well as round-trips from the Tokyo Metropolitan District to the Mt Fuji 'Free Area' on limited express trains on the Chuo Main Line. Narita Express (N'EX) extends its service to Kawaguchiko Station
 
Mt Fuji On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 26th July - 28th September 2014, Narita Express (N'EX) will extend two of its services per day to and from Narita Airport to Kawaguchiko Station, improving the access for tourists to Mt Fuji. Read more
