My Brother's Keeper Task Force Report to the President

In February, President Obama launched the "My Brother's Keeper" initiative to address opportunity gaps faced by boys and young men of color and ensure that all young people can reach their full potential. At that time, the President also created a My Brother's Keeper Task Force, mandated to review programs and practices offered to our youth to determine which public and private efforts are successful, how the federal government can better support these programs, and how to better involve state and local officials, the private sector, and the philanthropic community.

The Task Force recently released their 90-day report on their findings. The report includes an extensive overview of environments and outcomes for boys and young men of color and their peers, as well as recommendations on how society at large can help to expand opportunity for our nation's youth. The report covers everything from entering school ready to learn all the way to successfully entering the workforce and beyond.

You can find the My Brother's Keeper Task Force 90-day report, and learn about how we as a country can better support our youth here: My Brother's Keeper Task Force Report to the President.
