The Local Government Commission and the State of California invite you to Sacramento this summer for the
California Adaptation Forum, the first ever statewide conference event specifically focused on climate change adaptation. The Forum is August 19th and 20th at the Sheraton Grand Hotel and
online registration is now open.
This unique Forum includes
four keynote speakers and 40 plenaries and breakout sessions discussing critical adaptation issues. Sessions represent the most important and relevant climate resilience topics. They were selected from 150 high-quality, proposed sessions submitted in tracks oriented to planning, governance, implementation strategies, monitoring and evaluation, innovation and technology, communication and stakeholder engagement, and economics of adaptation. Speakers are state and national leaders in climate adaptation.
We expect the Forum to attract a diverse mix of over 600 attendees, including elected officials, public and private sector leaders, nonprofits, practitioners, state and local agency staff, and researchers.
