Hot Weather Tips!

We love spending time outside on a sunny day with our companions, but being overeager in hot weather can spell danger!
Even the healthiest pets can suffer in hot weather.  Here are just a few helpful tips that will make your days outside with your pet more comfortable!
Tip #1
Provide your pets with a constant supply of clean cool water.
Pets can get dehydrated very quickly in warm weather so make sure your pets have access to water at all times.
Tip #2
Exercise your pet during the coolest part of the day.
Yes, we love to walk/run with our dogs, but please do this in the early morning or after the sun has gone down.  And please do not walk/run with your dogs on hot pavement. Even when the sun goes down the pavement can hold the heat causing burns on your dog's paws.
Tip #3
NEVER, NEVER, EVER, EVER leave your pet in a parked car, shade or no shade, DO NOT DO IT!  The temperature inside your car is much warmer than the actual temperature outside. In some states it is AGAINST THE LAW to leave a pet unattended in a car!  Please be wise!
Tip #4
Do not leave pets unsupervised around a pool.  Not all dogs know how to swim.  Introduce your pets to water gradually and make sure they wear a flotation device.  Dogs can tire quickly when not used to swimming.

Safe pets…….priceless!

SAD BUT TRUE TAYLOR IS LEAVING!
