New website launched!

We're thrilled to announce that our new website is up and running! The site features improved forms, a better commenting system, new Cat-A-Logue categories and a digital dashboard on the homepage with current stats. Let us know what you think!  It's been months in the making and was launched a few weeks ago thanks to the skills, dedication and generosity of Elan Morgan. Elan is a Regina-based writer, designer and speaker – check out her site here. THANK YOU ELAN!

Garage sale success

Thanks to our wonderful volunteers for another successful garage sale! We raised enough to sterilize a dozen of our cat and kitten friends. Thank you also to Darleen Nichol for hosting the garage sale at her beautiful home in White City. Our friends at Prairie Sky Dog Rescue Inc. hauled our leftover goods for their garage sale on June 20. Check out their Facebook page for details in the coming weeks.

Connecting at the Cathedral Streetfair

We spent a wonderful day under the sun at the Cathedral Village Arts Festival streetfair on Saturday, May 24. We shared the Regina Cat Rescue story with hundreds of visitors, who donated generously to our cause – enough to sterilize four of our pretty kitties! We’re grateful to our volunteers who engaged passersby in conversation and explained our work to fellow Regina residents. A huge thank you goes to our foster homes who went to great lengths to bring the kitties to our booth and to Sharon Hassard for lending us a tent for the day to protect our volunteers and cats from the sun. It was a great day and we look forward to doing it again next year!

Notice anything new?

We've upgraded our e-bulletin to add some fun and colour to our monthly communication. We hope you like it!

Kitten season's here - foster homes needed

In spite of the late spring, kitten season is in full swing. Fortunately, our feral feeders have keen eyes to spot a lot of kittens before they’re old enough to breed (usually around the five-month mark). Kittens can be rescued, socialized and adopted into loving homes – but we need foster homes to accomplish this. If you have room in your heart and home to foster a cat or kitten, check out the foster home responsibilities and email us. All veterinary care and cat food are provided by RCR.

Meet MaKenna!

This month's cover kitty is an affectionate and playful kitty looking for her forever home. Meet MaKenna at PetSmart or check out her adoption profile.
