IMBERMOVES & FLIGHTLESS
New projects take off
IMBERMOVES (Space conquered by movement) is a traveling project that seeks and portrays urban architecture and natural treasures, places that invite the body to maintain a symbiotic relationship with the environment, leaving a proof by ephemeral and risky images. The basic working tool to give shape to this concept is the self-portrait. For instance image shown above, which was taken in Venize last April (Calle dei Preti). Some images from this project will be displayed over the month of June coincideing with Óxido Fest, Vallecas, Madrid, from the 20th untill the 22nd of June.
FLIGHTLESS is the new solo work, now in creating process at Centro Danza Canal by Elias Aguirre. The inspiration for this piece comes from the so called flightless birds: "certain limitations come along with us forever, they belong to us by nature ... but there are options to reinvent ourselves, there always have been." Gives music to the piece Asaf Yaniv. More information coming soon.

Óxido Fest
Guided by Javier Mosquera and Elias Aguirre a new Festival formula is born: Óxido Fest, focused on dance and the synergies that this discipline engages with art, technology, robotics, film, music, photography, video, hip-hop, theater or circus. Óxido Fest will take place the 20th, 21st and 22nd of June in Vallecas, in “Centro juvenil El sitio de mi recreo”. All activities are free. |

Escuálido Marsupial
From the 24th untill the 29th of last April, the CSDMA students (Sara Hair, Patricia Granados, Lucía Montes, Carolina Penalva, Nathalie Remadi, Marcos Rodriguez, Baldomero Ruiz, Sarah Wunsch) performed this piece of Manuel Rodriguez and Elias Aguirre at RESAD Madrid.
