Our Mission: Sight For All
The Southeast Asian country of Lao will be our fundraising focus at the Long Lunch. The impact of blinding eye diseases on the individual, the family and the economy of such poor countries is enormous. The capacity of eye specialists in Lao to deal with such readily avoidable conditions is extremely limited.
All proceeds raised will fund the provision of new equipment, training and health promotion that will have a profound impact on the ability of Laotian eye specialists to reduce the rate of blindness. Our support will go a long way to alleviating poverty and providing sustainable development in one of the poorest countries of Asia.
Art Alive
Sight For All is strongly aligned with the arts, hosting events which are anchored by a diversity of art forms. Artists rely on sight to explore, to be inspired, and to create works which evoke emotion and a sense of place - to enjoy art, we should never take our sight for granted.
We welcome Angus Hamra as our Art Alive Artist - Angus will paint throughout the lunch, creating a piece to be auctioned on the day. We are also thrilled to offer our guests incredible artworks by Sally Smart, John Waters and Keren Seelander. We thank these artists for their generosity and support of Sight For All.

Finger Food
Fried roasted pumpkin and mostarda ravioli with brown sage butter.
Salmon rillet en croute with salmon roe caviar.
Empanadas.
Prawn and snapper croquette with romesco.
5 Cheese Fondue with crusty bread pickled cornichons, baby onion, roasted cauliflower.
Mains
Braised Coorong Angus beef cheeks on creamy polenta with gremolata.
Winter salad of orange, fennel, green bean, candied walnut, organic Adelaide Hills rocket and mizuna with pomegranate dressing.
Paella with chook, mussels, clams, squid, chorizo, paprika & saffron.
Vegetarian paella with eggplant, baby carrot, calvero nero and jerusalem artichoke.
Dessert
A selection of assorted puddings.
Mille Feuille of caramel, chestnut mousse and hazelnuts.
Valdispino chocolate self-saucing pudding with candied cumquat.
Tarte tartin of Adelaide hills apple with roasted almond praline.
Adelaide Hills quince pudding with pistachio praline.
All served with Alexandrina jersey cream and a jug of vanilla anglaise.
