Charleston Scuba will be joining us on this trip of a lifetime. Sally and Lucy will lead this trip as we sail and live on the M/V Valentina, one of the finest liveaboards currently operating in the Sea of Cortez, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The chef prepares breakfast, lunch and an elegant meal at dinner with tableside service in addition to fresh mid-morning and afternoon snacks. The Valentina underwent a complete refit in 2013 and is ably served by a highly experienced and accommodating Captain and crew.
With clear, deep blue waters, abundant sea life, white sand beaches and inspiring vistas, the Sea of Cortez - known as the Gulf of California - is a breathtaking destination for amazing fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, sailing, boating, and exploring diverse marine creatures. Legendary diver Jacques Cousteau described the Sea of Cortez as the "world's aquarium" and the "Galapagos of North America.” The Gulf is thought to be one of the most diverse seas on the planet. Dive on untouched walls and reefs abounding in marine life. Encounter great and small whale species, whale sharks, manta and jumping mobula rays, and sea lion colonies. Bubble Maker Class for Kids

The PADI Bubblemaker class is designed for kids who can’t wait until they are old enough to put on dive gear and try scuba diving or who are just curious. This course allows them to try basic diving skills in a completely safe and comfortable environment; the water is always shallow enough for them to stand up and breathe if they need to. Students may use their own snorkeling gear or use some of the gear we have available. We also have children’s gear available for sale.
