In 2013, the state exported more than $1.6 billion in goods to the UAE, ranging from agricultural products, to automotive and aerospace equipment, to high-tech products. Over 400 Emirati students also attend universities in California. Underscoring these close ties, Etihad Airways recently launched a daily nonstop flight between Abu Dhabi and Los Angeles, complementing existing Emirates service to Dubai. Learn More >
