Bid Fermentation on Wheels farewell and join a potluck, talk, and culture exchange at Blue Moon Acres Farm this Thursday from 6 to 9pm in Pennington, NJ. This event is open to everyone, from interested beginners to expert fermenters. Bring your favorite homemade dish! You're also encouraged to bring fermented dishes or cultures (kombucha SCOBYs, sourdough starter, kefir grains, yogurt, etc.) to share and swap with other fermenters.
I will discuss & demo wild-yeast vegetable fermentation and further open up the conversation on starter culture inoculation, so you feel confident bringing a culture home from this event. The talk will be followed by a starter culture swap on the bus.
There is a suggested donation of $15 for this event. Funds support the continuation of Fermentation on Wheels and its mission to inspire people to live more simply & sustainably and ferment in their own kitchens.
