"It is in all of us to defy expectations, to go into the world and to be brave. To want, to need, to hunger for adventures, to embrace change and chance and risk, so that we may breathe and know what it is to be free." - Mae Chevrette

NESHA KHARÉ ...

From: I was born & raised in a small town up North, Prince George.
Lives: We live in Yaletown now, love downtown living.
Work: I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor & a Professional Speaker/Facilitator.

Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A:
It feels wonderful to be part of a larger collective of world jumpers…positive community building is so refreshing.

Q. Your experience doing jumping photos?
A:
It was truly a joyous experience! At first I was nervous, because I suck at jumping and I’d probably get no air. But when I jumped, I felt elated. I actually got off the ground! Jumping as a family with Sharad & Soran was so invigorating! We all giggled and felt so happy! It was also pretty cool shooting this at Soran’s neighbourhood playground. Working with Eyoalha was fantastic! Everyone should do this!

Q: What inspires you in life?
A:
Simplicity. Nature. Silence. Smiles.

Q: Your greatest passion?
A:
My passion for learning and exploring. There is so much beauty to see & so much adventure to be experienced!

I have a passion for people…in every profession I’ve taken on, it’s been about helping people find their true path of happiness.

Q: Your driving force?
A:
My family. They are my raison d’être. My boys bring a smile to my face and lightness to my heart in times of darkness.

Q: Philosophy?
A:
Laugh. Learn. Love. If all else fails…dance.

Q: Anything in the world?
A: Photographer of people, globally. I love capturing moments of reflection… I love seeing responses when people see how beautiful they are in a photograph…the true moments when their personalities shine.

Travel the world with my son & husband.

Q. Working on?
A:
Corporate Performance Management. If that’s my most exciting project, it’s probably time to pick up a camera or paint brush. lol

Q: Mini bio, interesting facts about you or something special you want to share.
A:
I have 3 degrees…figuring out a 4th. I’ve worked in a gas station, pulp mill, I’ve worked with abused children, I’ve been a teacher, I’ve modelled and now I’m a counsellor/speaker. I’ve meditated in silence for 10 days in the mountains. I’m obsessed with cotton candy & Leonard Cohen. We’re expecting our 2nd baby & we’re thrilled with the jumps for joy that lay ahead for Team Kharé!
