Smiles, congratulations, handshakes, tears, relief, joy, goodbyes and all those emotions accompanied the 19th graduation ceremony on the last Saturday in May.
46 students successfully completed one or two years of studies. What a change! Transformed lives. Because the Word of God transforms, changes, and bears fruit. As a team, our staff is so grateful to have had a part in these students’ lives over the past year.

Szabó Ivett (Ukraine): “It’s so good to know that God has a perfect plan for my life and in His plan the times are perfectly too. This year was a truly blessed one in my life. I have learned in lots of place already but this year and this school was the most enjoyable ever. God has given me lots of friend and brother/sister in Christ here! I’m thankful to God that I’m not the same person who came here in September. God has changed so many things in my life. He has thought me that He is a sovereign God and He is in control above everything. He loves me and this love is not just emotional love but it is provider and carrying love.

It was good to see what God can accomplish great things by us like simple, ordinary people. All you have to do is trust Him, believing His promises and obey. Then it was good to see how God fulfilled the promises in His people’s lives and it has given me encouragement for my life too.

Jordan Haller (Czech Republic): “I came to the Bible Institute in Hungary based on great experiences with the WOL Czech camp, as well as the awesome testimonies of graduates who I know from WOLH BI. My desire is that WOLH BI helps me to learn more about the Lord and His Word and also that I experience joy in Him. I hope to maybe work in youth ministry, but we’ll see what the Lord has in store!”

In Hungary, Pentecost is actually remembered and celebrated as a national 2 day holiday (Sunday and Monday). During the past 25 years, we have hosted the community for our annual Family Day on Pentecost Monday. Hundreds of people - parents, kids, grandparents - come and enjoy the beautiful park, the good programs, and the fellowship.

We are very grateful to God that gave us a beautiful day this year; a sunny day with temperatures in the 80s (30 °C). There were children's programs, a concert, sports, wall climbing, Bolyki Soul & Gospel Choir performed, and, of course, the gospel was presented. It was great to see the families come and have fun. We pray that the seeds that were spread fall on good ground and result in many receiving Christ as their Savior.

In order to be ready to receive the guests on Family Day as well as all the soon arriving campers, over the past week, our staff team worked on the property. We set aside the office work and meetings, and we painted together, we cleaned, we packed and unpacked. I am very grateful to serve together with such a willing team. Thank you, dear staff!

There is just 5 days left until the 25th Word of Life Hungary Summer Camp begins. Cowboys and Indians are waiting for the hundreds of young people to get the experience of a lifetime. Please pray with us to have enough finances to provide camp scholarships to every campers who needs and to provide for not only the operating expenses of the camp, but also for improvements and renovation. Our prayer is that we will have 1,001 campers at camp this summer. Already 690 are registered and coming. Dear Friend, many young people can only come to camp if we can provide them with scholarships. For them, $125 - $150 is impossible.
