Call for Volunteers:
Clinical Certification Examination Subcommittees (NEW!)
Speech-Language and Audiology Canada has created two new subcommittees to the Clinical Certification Examination Committees who will be tasked with developing questions for the clinical certification exam. If you're looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity and would like to contribute to the professional standards for the next generation of clinically certified audiologists and speech-language pathologists, this could be the position for you.
Committee Details
The two Clinical Certification Examination Subcommittees — one for the audiology exam and one for the S-LP exam — will generate questions for the SAC Clinical Certification Exam. SAC is looking for 12 individuals to fill these positions (six per subcommittee). Subcommittee members will serve terms between two and four years.

- With the exception of a one-day workshop in Ottawa (see last bullet below), volunteers will conduct all work for this subcommittee remotely.
- Subcommittee members will develop a required number of exam questions on a yearly basis.
- Volunteers are required to participate in a one-day workshop on test item writing, which will take place in Ottawa in October 2014 (SAC will cover all expenses for travel, meals and accommodations).
