World Refugee Day
There are over 45 million refugees and internally displaced people in the world. UNHCR estimates someone is forced to abandon their home every four seconds. Worldwide, 20 June is commemorated as the World Refugee Day. We mark this day with a selection of video stories from the Asia-Pacific region.

We begin with Migration, the story of an Afghan Hazara family that sought refuge in Australia. The open sea both carried them there and afforded one of their sons a future in surfing.
