“The smeSpire EEIG: a contribution to INSPIRE capacity building”

The workshop consists of two parts: a first part in which the main smeSpire results will be briefly presented as resources being maintained, updated and upgraded by the smeSpire EEIG. In the second part an open discussion about the smeSpire EEIG contribution to INSPIRE capacity building will involve few panelists representing the EEIG itself, GeoICT SMEs, Institutions, Associations and the public. More information Here.

“The smeSpire and World Wind Challenge: projects and best practices for INSPIRE â€

The aim of this workshop is to present the applications submitted to the smeSpire Challenge. Applicants have been competing in the following tracks:
  • Track 1 – Best Practices for INSPIRE: This track aims at stimulating the submission of Best Practices related to INSPIRE implementations 
  • Track 2 – Open Source Software for INSPIRE: This track aims at lowering the many barriers existing for the adoption of open-source software by PA, Agencies and Enterprises.
