Bad News Folks.

On Saturday, May 31st, the man in the picture above broke into the Southern Theater and stole computers and equipment from our administrative office as well as the administrative office of The West Bank Business Association. Material belongings are replaceable, but the one thing he stole that means more than anything is the piece of mind and sense of safety of our staff, the staff of The West Bank Business Association, and the staff of the Ka-Joog Somali outreach organization, as well as the many artists who call our stage home.

A Call To Action:

We have no intentions of taking this laying down. We are calling on the biggest army we have available: you. As a non-profit organization, our commitment is, has been, and always will be to the community we serve and now we need you to help us find this man and make him rue the day he set foot in our home with nefarious intentions. Share his picture far and wide, spread that s*** like Nutella. Share it on Facebook, Tweet it, +1 it on Google+, print it off and tape it above all of the urinals at work. Click here for a full quality version of the picture. If you, or anyone you know has any information on who this is please contact Officer Marshall Collier of the Minneapolis Police Department at 612.673.5701 to let him know.

Other ways to help

Now more than ever, The Southern is in need of financial help. One of the best ways that you can help, and even get the chance to win an amazing trip, is to buy a GIGANTUS raffle ticket or make a donation on our GiveMN page. We would never want to turn tragedy into profit, but in the wake of current events we need all of the help we can get.
Click here to learn more about our GIGANTUS raffle and how you could win a trip to Napa Valley, New York, or Costa Rica!
Click here to make a donation to The Southern Theater through GiveMN.

We want to thank everyone for your constant support. Without you, The Southern wouldn't be here today.
