Dear Friends,

The Star Sisters series is off and running, with Star Sisters and the Royal Wedding and Star Sisters and the Big Show on the shelves and Coco and Lucy popping up in bedrooms across the country!  Watching this series spread like crazy by word of mouth alone has been a huge thrill.  The emails from moms saying that they kept reading even after their children went to bed, the smiles from kids as they tell me their favorite scene, and reports of Coco and Lucy games being played on the playground have filled my heart.  

And don't worry, there's much more fun to come.  Book Three, Star Sisters and the Great Skate, will be released the first week in July.  Emerald star necklaces are coming soon, I promise!  I'm currently working on Book Four, tentatively titled Star Sisters and the Best Seller, which is an adorable story about a little girl who wants to be a writer.  She's got a quirky writing style that some people criticize, but thanks to Coco and Lucy she never gives up on her dream.  

Getting media attention has been a challenge for me and I'm certainly getting a crash course in public relations.  Although, all the emails I've sent don't hold a candle to my sister-in-law who personally handed Gywenth Paltrow a copy of Star Sisters and the Royal Wedding.  Cross your fingers for some GOOP love and please keep spreading the word about these books!  It's truly amazing what women can do!  I marvel at it every single day and I'm so very grateful.
