State of Origin: Round 2
The end of one of the most amazing streaks in Australian sport has come to an end, and punters from both sides of the border were there to witness history at AustCham's State of Origin sellout event. The Maroons really looked like steamrolling the Blues at stages but NSW held on. The final score was a nail-biting 6-4 win to the Blues.
Queensland produced an effort stacked with errors and poor discipline around the ruck and paid the price. The Blues kept a clean sheet and by the end, under a barrage of pressure, Queensland became frustrated and couldn't deliver the miracle play that's happened on so many occasions.

With a packed out bar, cold beer and AustCham State of Origin shirts, it was an ejoyable night. We thank our members for attending the event at the Local and showing their colours.
We look forward to seeing you at The Local for the next big clash on July 9th!

A special thank you to experts from Norton Rose Fulbright and Control Risk for participating a panel discussion, moderated by Clare Pearson from DLA Piper. It was a great way for guests to understand best practice on corporate governance in China.
