Sarah Darling Covers Summer Issue
of WHOAwomen, On Stands Now

Critically Acclaimed Singer/Songwriter Opens Up About Her Faith, New Business Ventures and Success

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 2, 2014) – WHOAwomen Magazine welcomes country music’s sweetheart and ABC’s “Rising Star” contestant Sarah Darling, as the cover girl for the July issue, which is on stands now.  Darling opens up to Laine Lawson Craft, editor of the women’s publication, about how her faith is the foundation of her life.

Darling shares with the magazine:
“To me, faith is like the rock that kind of binds all of it together. I think that if I did not have my faith in Christ, I could not do this career or have the patience of perseverance to go along with it. Faith keeps me in the right place and everything in perspective.”

Additionally, the critically acclaimed singer/songwriter shares with WHOAwomen about her growing business ventures making French pastries and her new boot line in partnership with Durango Footwear. Darling also reveals how dating a “bad boy” launched her into stardom:
“I ended up dating this bad boy, wrote a ton of songs about this relationship. At the time I was wondering why on earth God put me in this tumultuous part of my life. But you know that it is true about being shaken up-sometimes it just stresses to you to do amazing things. After writing all of these songs, I started playing them out live and had no idea that they were even good…I just did my thing and I got signed to a label in Nashville pretty quickly after three years of being here and after singing my songs out.”

To read the full article, fans can find the new summer issue on stands at Barnes & Noble, Family Stores and select retail outlets nationwide.
