 Are You Lucky?
FOUR LEAF CLOVERS
My backyard is basically a clover and weed patch. Thankfully more clover than weeds. I had a friend this week ask me if I have looked for any four leaf clovers. I said I hadn't. I just mow the whole lot, rack and try to make it look as much as grass as possible. Now I think I may take a gander before the yard work begins. Do you look for four leaf clovers?

I bought the June Issue of Mental Floss as their feature topic was luck. I must say I was disappointed with what the magazine chose to focus on as lucky vs increasing positive life events. (I know I am not the only one as many of my Facebook friends expressed the same opinion.)

Winning Tip
Where do you find your sweepstakes, contests and giveaways to enter? To you rely only on one source or do you look everywhere? Your local newspaper (does any one still read those things?), local radio stations (on-air and their websites), billboards, bus ads, television ads, sponsor's Facebook pages and Twitter feeds, friend's online shares, etc.; tear it out, bookmark it, photograph it, share it, etc., to either enter right away come back when you have time. Keep your eyes and ears open for that next winning opportunity. There is no end to where you can find promotions. GOOD LUCK! |
