Free Wi-Fi Comes to Krepps

As part of a study being coordinated by the City of Morgantown and WVU, Krepps Park has been chosen as a test location for Wi-Fi services! This means that while the kids are in the pool or on the field, you can have access to FREE Wi-Fi. Look for the AIR.U Wi-Fi Network. Enjoy!

The Monongalia County Solid Waste Authority will not be holding an electronics recycling event this summer. It is asking that residents be responsible when choosing how to recycle old tv’s, computers, and other electronic devices. Learn more...

Tire Amnesty Day July 12

The WVDEP has Scheduled the Monongalia County Tire Amnesty Day! The event will be held July 12th, 2014 from 8 am- 4 pm at Sam’s Club in the University Town Center. To see the scheduled days for all counties please follow this link Scheduled Tire Days.

Tire Collection Rules

  • Only tires from state residents will be accepted.
  • Please have your WV ID ready when you sign in.
  • A ten tire limit per person will be strictly enforced.
  • Tires on or off the rim will be allowed.
  • We accept only car or light truck tires. (16 inches or less)
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. kids will take over the downtown with more than 60 scheduled events. Kids of all ages will learn about safety, play games, receive free goodies from area businesses, make crafts, and play in the giant sandbox. Learn more...
