On Essex Mums this month
Hello! Can it really be September already? This summer seems to have flown by. I hope you've all made the most of it and have managed to keep the kids entertained! Quite a few of our forum regular's kids will be going to school this year, and lots more are starting pre-school, so I would like to say good luck to them all and I hope they enjoy their first day! If you're looking for someone to talk to about these big changes, come and chat on the forum, you'll get lots of great advice if you want it, or just a friendly ear.

Lost Password Issues
It's come to my attention that a number of people have had trouble resetting their password for the forum and are getting a 'user not found' message when they try to have it sent to them. I'm trying to find out what the problem is, but for now if you would like your password reset, just drop me an email and I'll change it for you.

Things to Do section
I’m currently working on revamping the Things to Do section so that it’s a little easier to read. There’s so much on there it can be hard to find what you want, so it’s having an overhaul which should hopefully be finished in a week or so, so make sure you check it out. Likewise, if your class, group or event isn’t currently listed, email me with the details or post them on the forum to make sure that it is!

Directory
Loads more local businesses have joined the Directory this month and it’s gradually starting to fill up. I’d like to offer everyone who receives this newsletter a 50% discount on spaces for the rest of this week – let me know if you would like more details.

Daily Thread
I’d like to take this opportunity to invite everyone to join the daily thread on the forum . It’s a really nice way of getting to know everyone quickly and feel welcome on the site. I know a few people have felt a little nervous about joining in, but please don’t! Just come and say hello. Here’s a link to today’s one, why not post right now?

Facebook Group
I’m still looking for admins to join the facebook group and create events across the county so that everyone can attend a meet up near them! Let me know if you would be interested in doing this.

Reviews
I would really appreciate it if you could leave a review of the site by clicking here (please be honest but nice!) as it will hopefully encourage other parents to come and join us!
