Pasado's Safe Haven recently took part in a very special rescue involving multiple states and over 100 dogs. Along with four other rescue organizations, Pasado's staff welcomed fifty-two dogs at Seattle's Boeing Field on Friday, May 30th. Two other flights rushed dogs to other shelters nationwide. Each and every dog on those three outbound flights from California were scheduled to be euthanized that morning but thanks to some good samaritan pilots and dedicated volunteers they were flown out of harms way and into the safety of local rescues. Marvelous Marlin
Marlin is ready to have his very own happy ending. He is very devoted to the people that he loves and enjoys nothing more than a long, leisurely walk. He is a gorgeous five year old Shepherd mix weighing about 60 lbs. Marlin is slow to trust people but once he does he'll be your best friend for life! Read more about Marlin here.
A Playful Pygmy
Shinwa is a super friendly (and did we mention "adorable"!) pygmy goat. He has a cute round tummy and like most goats, he loves to play on our outdoor play yard. Besides playing, Shinwa also loves to scratch his head on the barn doors and walls, and he has no hesitation expressing his love of being pet by humans. Shinwa enjoys affection, playtime and treats! Corporate Compassion
Gather your group for a Corporate Day of Compassion at Pasado's Safe Haven! These fun days are group volunteer opportunities that allow you to bond with co-workers, friends, and other animal lovers while supporting Pasado’s mission. Have fun with your group by tackling such tasks as painting buildings and barns, digging ponds for our ducks, and clearing paths for dog walking. Each party gets a tour of the sanctuary, and an opportunity to visit with many of our animals. If your company or group would consider generously donating its time and service at our sanctuary, please contact our Outreach Program Coordinator for more information!
July Tour
Summer is flying by and we don’t want you to miss out on meeting the animals, so be sure to register for our next tour on Saturday, July 12th.
