Get to Know Your Bike at the
Bike Garage at Rogers

Wed, July 2nd and 9th

 

Ladies, bike making some weird noises? Chain need some TLC after this tough winter? Brakes just not what they used to be? Come to the Bike Garage at Rogers High School on Wednesday, July 2nd from 6-8pm for a women's basic bike maintenance class. We'll help you make your bike love you, and you'll love your bike even more for loving you. Class is $5 for students, $20 for adults. 

Don't worry guys! There will be a general bike maintenance class for all genders the following week, Wednesday, July 9th from 6-8pm.

Independence Day Bike Parade
Friday, July 4th

Join us for the annual Fourth of July Bike Parade! Gather at Ellery Park (by Bucci Liquors) at 9:30am to bedazzle your bikes in red, white and blue. Much fun for kids, families, and lovers of Russell Daly's amazing antique bikes. The parade to Washington Square leaves at 10:10am, where we'll join the patriotic party - pie eating contest, reading of the Declaration of Independence, a performance by the Newport Community Band and more!  
 

 Sunset Biking + Yoga Series 
Tuesday, July 8th

We're thrilled to announce a Sunset Biking + Yoga Series in partnership with Thames Street YogaJoin us the first Tuesday of each month for an 11-mile Ocean Drive loop followed by a one-hour outdoor yoga class at King Park. Meet at the park gazebo at 6pm. $10, BYO mat or towel. Helmets required. Dates are July 8thAugust 5th and September 9th.

Festival season is almost upon us and we're seeking volunteers to help us park up to 1,000 bicycles a day at Fort Adams. Help us make Newport's biggest summer event a bike-friendly one and catch some fabulous acts while you're at it! Email or call us at (401) 619-4900 to get on the list.
