Dogs confused by Play Bow

We really enjoyed seeing everyone at the Thousand Oaks ArtWalk on June 7-8.  It was a fun event, great weather, good music, lots of people, and of course great art!  The four legged art lovers were all very excited about Play Bow, they really wanted to make friends with him.  Most of them left a bit confused.

It was exciting to see everyone's reaction to Play Bow.  I sculpted it in loving memory of Sonny, our Cocker Spaniel.  He was such a sweet dog, very calm and quiet, at least until it was time to play.  He loved it when we ate popcorn, and always expected us to share.  When our cat was a kitten, she looked up to him like a big brother, and she even seemed to act like a dog some of the time.

In July, on the weekend of 26-27, we will be showing our artwork at the Malibu Arts Festival. I will have some new photography works on display from Yosemite.  We hope to see you there!
