Hot Weather Reminder
Summer should arrive in Regina any day, now! Sunny days and warm weather are great for humans -- but not so much for our little furry friends. Cats and dogs don’t tolerate heat any better than we do. Always make sure your pet has access to plenty of drinking water. And never leave your pet alone in a parked vehicle. You might think they enjoy car rides, but they'd much rather bond with you in the cool comfort of home. Heat exhaustion symptoms to watch for in cats and dogs include rapid pulse and breathing, bright red gums and tongue, lethargy, stumbling or weakness, drooling, hot paws and vomiting. If you suspect an animal's overheating inside a parked car, call 911 or the Regina Humane Society Protection Services at 306-777-7700.

Call for Interest - Co-Chair, Fundraising and Membership
Regina Cat Rescue is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated person to take on the role of co-chair for our Fundraising and Membership Committee. Even if you don’t consider yourself a superstar fundraiser, the knowledge and practice you’ll gain in this role will convince you otherwise. Review the volunteer profile and email us.
