Biosphere News Flash
June 2014

Dear <<Name>>

Join our Party!

Come along to help us celebrate becoming a Biosphere area, at the free Sussex Festival of Nature (formerly called 'Springwatch') at Stanmer Park by Brighton, this Sunday 22nd June (11 am-5 pm)!

There will be a special focus on our new Biosphere status, alongside four fantastic zones: Countryside, Coast, City Parks & Gardens, and the new Eco zone.

A wide range of free activities will be on offer for all ages, including:
  • festival market selling locally sourced produce
  • birds of prey
  • sheep shearing
  • heavy horses
  • Biosphere games
  • food court
  • bar
  • family activities
  • and much more!

The Sussex Festival of Nature is a dog-friendly event.

And don't forget to take advantage this year of the special advance bus vouchers that you can download to get there for free or half-price, so you are free to leave the car at home.
Walk for Whales

Join Brighton SEALIFE centre on Sunday 29th June on a 2-hour sponsored walk for Whale & Dolphin Conservation from Saltdean Lido back to Brighton, meeting 9 am at the centre or 9.30 am at Saltdean, and stopping off for a rock-pooling experience at Black Rock.
Wear a red top and get free entry to the centre on your return!
